Rocket Falcon is one of the space projects owned by a well-known company owned by a mikayerder named Elon Musk. Elon Musk himself is one of the well-known entrepreneurs who have known his name from several products in the field of technology. The Tesla company as it is known is a company engaged in the field of technological innovation, many products have been produced by the company, both car and motorcycle innovations and several other technologies.
Wanting to make a new innovation, Elon Musk finally opened a company in the field of space by making his latest innovation in the field of space vehicles, namely Rocket. An Elon's target is to make a rocket glide and land. As we know, a few decades since Rocket was first used as a space vehicle, Rocket only has a function as a launching device, to land the Rocket only relying on a parachute that has been installed in the Rocket.
NASA as we know it already uses parachutes as a method to land rockets on the surface of the earth. This has been applied for several decades. Until finally there was an Elon with rocket technology innovation that can glide and land on its own. It all started with Elon Musk's first rocket, which was named Falcon 1.
In 2008 Falcon 1 successfully launched its first launch, precisely on September 28, 2008. The success of the launch had a lot of failures, it had become a normal thing.
Finally on June 4, 2010 Evolved ExpendableLaunch Vehicle (EELV) with Falcon 9 was successfully launched into Earth orbit, and this was the initial launch of the success of Falcon 9. Not only that, Elon Musk took the initiative to make a rocket to be used multiple times time, this is done so that the costs incurred can be minimized right.
To be able to achieve this, a concept was created that could be used to launch rockets and land rockets automatically or known as Vertical Take Off and Landing (VTVL). The workings of this concept, the rocket is launched to bring the payload into Earth's orbit, after the payload is released, the rocket returns to maneuver slowly rotating and reverse direction, when entering Earth's orbit, the rocket is directed to the landing site by opening to four parts small wings that are used to direct the tail of the rocket.
after the rocket approaches the landing, the rocket engine is turned on again, this is done so that the speed of a rocket can be controlled, besides the thrust generated can be used as a braking aid during landing. This concept was finally embedded in Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy. Falcon Heavy is a large family of Falcon 9, why is that?
The ability of rocket made by SpaceX is indeed no doubt, the power generated is very large, the fuel used by Falcon 9 is liquid oxygen (LOX) and kerosene fuel (RP-1). From the power generated, the Rocket Falcon 9 can easily lift a payload weighing approximately 13,000 kg, into low earth orbit (LEO).
